Varick was a ten month old kitten who was found in the schoolyard by his finder’s job last March and brought to the shelter because the person didn’t want the young orange tabby to be hurt by someone. He was reportedly very sweet and friendly. But the poor guy was super stressed out at the ACC and was added to the at-risk list with a New Hope rating. He was pulled by Anjellicle Cats and spent the past several months in a wonderful foster home. He recently went to his purrmanent residence where we received this happy update from his proud foster mom, “He seems to be doing well after a week in his new home. He is exploring the whole apartment, eating, and going to the bathroom. He was even coming over to his adopter (and visiting family members) for rubs now and again.” We wish “Rikki” and his new furever family a long, happy and healthy life together!!!
