Super-sized sweetheart, Tiger A0924370 who was returned to the shelter after being adopted five years ago when former owner decided to move without him. He was pulled by our friends at Magnificat for his lucky new furever friend and since then has been safe with his adopters, Marie and her husband, in their home in Rhode Island.
According to Magnificat’s Facebook page, it took a few days for this feisty little New Yorker to get used to his new life. At first he eyed everybody with deep suspicion and showed no inclination to leave the safety of the guest bedroom (indeed, there were times when even the bedroom did not seem secure enough and he would retreat to the closet). But in the last couple of days he has started to warm up to the people in his home. He has even made a new friend: Marie’s other cat, Strype. Looks like Marie agrees with Magnificat’s favorite maxim: the only thing better than having an orange cat is having TWO orange cats!
