PANDA A1025244
"New Beginnings" - Stories About Saved NYC Shelter AnimalsRobin and Panda’s Tale: “We pulled him with Anjellicle’s help in the early morning hours of January 26 of 2015. He was scheduled to be euthanized at noon that day. He was found on the Tremont Street in the Bronx, but no other info was given. He was given an “experience” rating because he didn’t respond to toys. I found it a strange rating considering there was nothing in the write-up about his behavior at all, where he came from, etc. He was clearly very young and very scared. And though the MACC listed him as one year old – the vet thinks he was actually 8 months at the time.
Panda arrived as skin and bones – moving us to tears. He is now plump and healthy!
He is such a sweet lover kitty and we are so grateful to have him in our lives! We are ‘foster failures’ and after six months signed our adoption paperwork for Panda this week.
Panda lives with us in a brownstone apartment in Brooklyn and has made several trips to visit grandma’s house out on Shelter Island. His eyes bulged out when he saw all of the rabbits and squirrels running around!
Thank you so much for saving so many lives! What you do is truly extraordinary and vital work on behalf of so many cats and dogs! Pictures of Panda below – feel free to pick and choose. The first face shot was posted on your site.
Kind Regards,
Robin
