LUCY – A1054990
"New Beginnings" - Stories About Saved NYC Shelter AnimalsLucy was surrendered to the ACC as a stray. She was found wandering loose and ran up to the finder. There is no doubt that Lucy was someone’s family pet. The shelter volunteer loved Lucy and included a nice volunteer note saying: I love Lucy! This girl is the star of the show, and she knows it. As soon as she sees you shes at the front of her kennel, rolling around, sticking her paws out and meowing. Whatever she can do to get some scritches! If you want a cat that clings to you like velcro, Lucy is the cat for you! Come meet her at out Manhattan Care Center!
Lucy made it onto that dreadful kill list. Her crummy picture wasn’t doing her much justice but thankfully a wonderful rescue (HVARS) saved the day when they pulled Lucy to safety. She is still in need of a loving home and up for adoption through HVARS. If interested please contact them at http://www.hvars.org/
