GIO A1052348 (NOW AMON RA)
"New Beginnings" - Stories About Saved NYC Shelter AnimalsGio (now Amon Ra) was a four year old super sweet feline surrendered by his former owner last fall due to “no time.” Turned out that this loving fella was FIV positive and suffered from an ongoing inflammation of his sinuses which often results in bloody sneezes. That hasn’t deterred his foster mom (who may turn into his purrmanent guardian) from giving him lots of love and care. “He’s the sweetest cat,” his mom noted, “and sleeps with us every night.
“We are beyond thankful to Dr. Palma, the nasal specialist at Animal Medical Center and Anjellicle Cats (Amon Ra’s rescue that pulled him off death row) as well as Louie’s Legacy who have stepped in to take care of Amon Ra. Amon Ra is a Pooka, a big gentle cat who can make you laugh and despite everything done to him. Dr. Palma and his associate said ‘he’s a really great cat!’ We are so grateful to these wonderful organizations for taking care of Amon. I am almost sure this is why Amon was left at ACC.
“Please continue to purr and pray for this boy and send him healing energy. He’s a very gentle giant, and quite wonderful!”
