"New Beginnings" - Stories About Saved NYC Shelter AnimalsFrom our friends at Magnificat–a happy “tail:”
You all know how we feel about orange cats: we dote on them. And when they are good looking and have that indefinable air of feline hauteur, we fall hard.
Sunshine, an extremely handsome, four-year-old golden cat, appeared on the euthanasia list at the New York City ACC this week. He was so gorgeous we were sure he would be pulled immediately, but just to be on the safe side we sent in an email saying we would be rescue of last resort.
We were staggered when the ACC informed us that nobody else had so much as inquired about him and that he was now in our name. Thankfully, our friend Kris, Attila’s foster, shares our taste in orange cats and offered to be his temporary foster.
Sunshine (a completely inappropriate name for a cat of his masculine beauty) arrived today at Kris’s. He is active and very, very curious, although still a bit uncertain about his new digs.
And he is even better looking than in his ACC picture!
Sunshine is 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated, negative for FIV and FeLV, and microchipped. Interested in adopting Sunshine? Please email [email protected]
