Stitch
"New Beginnings" - Stories About Saved NYC Shelter AnimalsCame across this old post and if anyone wanted to know how this level 5 aggressive dog is doing, he has made milestones. We’ve attached pics below. Stitch formerly “Poofy” lives happily with us where we spend many hours in the day working from home with our furkids. We have had days with blood sweat and tears but he has learned that love exists. We have learned to help him cope with his fear biting triggers most of the time and he has learned to accept our love and affection in many ways. He has proved that you CAN heal the hearts and souls of unwanted kiddos and that old dogs can learn new tricks. He knows how to walk well on leash, sit, stay, lie down, speak, and release toys or trade bones for a treat. Stitch now has a 2 more (making them 4!) adopted siblings on Instagram @caspernstitch 😊 and we just celebrated 3 years with him and his 13th birthday in June by taking him to Central Park 🎈 he is loved everyday, gets homemade meals for his chronic skin issues, regular walks, mini adventures and sleeps with us as a pack. We hope someone out there sees him as an example of love and takes time and patience to help undo what others do to neglect or abuse dogs like this. Fostering saves lives!
