Rio, Oliver Twist and Zeppelin
We have a large pack of 8, 3 of which were on the NYCACC death row list. First came Rio (formerly Kreston, a jack russell dachshund mix) due to “aggression” – he’s not aggressive at all, just very vocal and typical small dog attitude, was quite scared when he arrived but responded great to training and is actually perfectly behaved around the house and in public! Next came OliverTwist (formerly Sebastian, a little fuzzy chihuahua mix that I secretly think is a fox) also for aggression – he really does suffer from immense fear aggression but has been rehabilitating beautifully with us 🙂 I call him the my little heartbeat – he makes me so so happy. And finally came Zeppelin (formerly Antino, the brindle pit bull) on the list for kennel cough. He comes to work with me at our financial firm almost everyday and clients now request him! He makes everyone smile and is a great representation of the breed! They all are just amazing and fit into our pack perfectly. Not only has each one taught me something special but they just want to be loved and love in return. Thank you for posting them and giving them a second shot!
