MR. CLARITO 14249
SAFE! Happy update from Magnificat Cat Rescue regarding thirteen year old gentleman, who was pulled from the at-risk list last week, “Mr. Clarito and his housemate Earl ended up on the New York City ACC’s euthanasia list last week after their owner became homeless and was forced to surrender them. Earl got adopted from the list, but Mr. Clarito, a favorite with everyone, had no rescue interest at all, despite pleas from the Brooklyn ACC staff.
So far, Mr. Clarito has proven to be a great save. He is friendly, curious, personable, and seems to get along just fine with Attila and the other cats. His joints are a little stiff; he could not make it all the way up to the window sill by himself, but that was soon solved with a footstool. Otherwise, he is active and acting just like a normal cat.
We wish more people were open to adopting older cats. They make wonderful companions and they are so grateful!”
