FLYNN aka LEGEND
"New Beginnings" - Stories About Saved NYC Shelter AnimalsHere is another update on FLYNN aka Legend A1121788 who was rescued last week from the nightly AT RISK list. The adopter’s mother sent this photo and story we want to share:
“I wanted to let you know that my daughter saved this kitty. He is doing so well now. He was just at the Vets today for a follow up and he has gained a lb and a 1/2 in just a week! He absolutely not 10 years old as his profile said! He was at most about 2 years old and under. He had no dental disease, no stomatitis, no lymphoma as stated by the medical evaluation of the NYCACC. He had a massive wound between his shoulder blades, puzzling for the Vet since it could have been from micro-chipping him. He had two wounds on his side and his tail did not have to be amputated. Thank goodness the NYCACC gave him much needed antibiotics but he was absolutely starving to death when she brought him to the vet the first time. He jumped off the table and ate 3 bowls of food!! All his wounds are healing now. He is very happy and very loving toward her children as they are to him. This is a true happy ending for this poor YOUNG boy. I shared him all over hoping some angel would rescue him not knowing it would be my daughter! I will send you more new beginning pictures when he is completely recovered. So thank goodness for your at risk posts every night plus the add-ons! A lot are saved because of the constant and concerned networking of a lot of people. It takes an army across the world. Sincerely, Judith”
We love happy endings!!
