Charisma, Dunkin and Ruby
"New Beginnings" - Stories About Saved NYC Shelter Animals
Charisma, a former a resident at BACC; Dunkin, a former resident of MACC; and Ruby, former resident of the Center for Animal Health and welfare are checking in again to share another update. We were all socialized properly and lived harmoniously together until Mom and Dad took an over night trip to help a friend with a rescue benefit. While family was caring for us human error caused a situation and provided an opportunity for a fight to ensue between Charisma and Ruby. Mom and Dad were devastated, but they are determined and will not give up on us. We work daily to build trust with Mom and Dad again, as well as with each other, and have been working for 2 months since the fight. We met with the trainer tonight to see how we are doing and the trainer is confident with another 2 months of work we will be living without muzzles harmoniously again. Mom and Dad have confidence in us and see the great progress we’ve made. Goes to show what we, three Pitbulls, are capable of with patience, time and dedication from our family. Please don’t ever give up on your family. We make mistakes just like humans do. No one is perfect and if that’s what you expect from us than we will surely fail. Thank you Urgent for helping Charisma and Dunkin find their happily ever after no matter what.
